Description

Mrs. Piggle-Wiggle loves everyone, and everyone loves her right back. The children love her because she is lots of fun. Their parents love her because she can cure children of absolutely any bad habit. The treatments are unusual, but they work! Who better than a pig, for instance, to teach a piggy little boy table manners? And what better way to cure the rainy-day "waddle-I-do's" than hunt for a pirate treasure in Mrs. Piggle-Wiggle's upside-down house?

Reviews

AudioFile Magazine...
The Mrs. Piggle-Wiggle stories are quirky period pieces loved by children. No matter that the families are dated and that her solutions to problems so outrageous. Fans delight in the universality of children and enjoy the magic in Mrs. Piggle-Wiggle's cures. This offering in MacDonald's quartet finds tattletales, atrocious manners, and interrupting high on the list of bad habits. Karen White is a fine narrator. She adds just the right amount of adult or child to her voice for each character and the right tempo for the speaker at hand. All the while, the story moves purposefully to its conclusion. White is as no-nonsense as Mrs. Piggle-Wiggle herself. A.R. (c) AudioFile 2005, Portland, Maine
